1. Calculators
For many radios the code is derived from the serial number by a fixed method. Our 52 calculators reproduce these methods exactly. The calculation runs on our server: the page sends the serial and receives only the code. Each calculator was checked against the original decoding software on hundreds of serial numbers.
2. Database lookups
Some radios were given codes from a list rather than a formula. For those, our server looks the serial up in our code database – for example Ford V series, Delco, Chrysler and Mercedes Audio 10. Lookups are free; we limit how often one visitor can search to protect the service from abuse.
3. Our team
If no calculator or database covers your radio, send us the serial. We tell you whether we can help, and what it costs, before you pay.
What we do not do
- We only provide radio codes. We do not provide key, immobiliser or alarm codes.
- We do not help anyone unlock a radio that is not theirs. Please confirm you own the radio when you ask for help.
