How to use the Philips lookup
Enter the full 14-character serial starting with PH. The code is searched in our database and shown in a second. If the serial starts with GM instead, the radio was made for General Motors – use the Opel / Vauxhall page.
How a Philips serial is built
Every Philips serial in our database (about 4.25 million) starts with PH, followed by a three-character model code, two letters and seven digits – for example PH501FR0123456. Always enter all 14 characters.
The most common model codes in our database:
| After “PH” | Serials |
|---|---|
| 785… | 444,000 |
| 501… | 272,000 |
| APB… | 201,000 |
| 711… | 194,000 |
| ACC… | 144,000 |
| 511… | 122,000 |
| 701… | 115,000 |
A Philips radio fitted by Opel or Vauxhall may carry a GM serial instead – use the Opel / Vauxhall page for those.
