Frequently asked questions

What does a Renault pre-code look like?

One letter followed by three digits: A123, T256, V012 and so on. Every letter from A to Z is possible.

Where do I find the pre-code?

Radio off → hold 1 and 6 → switch on. The pre-code appears after a few seconds. It is also on the label on the radio case.

Is the pre-code the same as the radio code?

No. The pre-code identifies the radio; the calculator turns it into the 4-digit code that you enter with buttons 1–4.
