How to use the Grundig lookup
- Find the serial on the radio label – 14 characters such as
FA0925S1000012. - Enter all 14 characters above.
- Enter the code on the radio as described in your manual.
Grundig built radios for several car makers, so your radio may carry the car brand’s logo – the Grundig serial on the label is what counts.
Grundig serial prefixes we cover
Our Grundig database holds about 5.7 million serials. The first two letters tell you which series the radio belongs to:

Serial starts with GM? Grundig made radios for General Motors, and other GM radios were made by Delco and Philips. If your GM serial is not found here, try the Delco / GM lookup.
For 164 serials the original list contains NONE instead of a code – these radios were most likely shipped without code protection.
